All Up In My Grill!

Well actually it’s our grill, it was the first thing Corey and I purchased for our apartment after moving in together. We use it several times a week, even in the winter. It is so easy and well….it makes him feel like a man. No seriously, he calls it his “man grill”. Anyways, here are some of our favorite things to cook on the grill.

Asparagus– We usually switch up the spices but we dribble olive oil, sea salt, pepper and other seasonings depending on what we are having with it. Cook about 10 mins or until desired texture

Salmon– We have grilled salmon about once a week. We always marinade it with a creamy Caesar dressing (let it sit for about an hour) and add salt and pepper to taste. It is then grilled on high for about 10 minutes.

Red bell peppers– We love these. We marinade them in a bag overnight with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper or an Italian-style seasoning. Grill them with skin up on the top rack of the grill for about 10 minutes then flip them skin down and continue to grill for about a minute.

Chicken-We always marinade the chicken overnight to get the best taste. We have tried many different kind of marinades but this one was my favorite. Yogurt marinade.

What is your favorite thing to cook on the grill?

What is the most unusal thing you have tried to cook on the grill? (pizza anyone? I heard that’s really good!)
