Arbonne Review and Protein Brownies

With so many health products out there it can get overwhelming and discouraging trying to find the right stuff for you. I have tried so many different products from shapewear to protein powder but I like to share the best with you. I tried a few Arbonne Essentials products for the first time today and I must say, I was very impressed! Check out my loot:

2 protein powder shake mixes (vanilla and chocolate), 3 Fit chews, 5 energy fizz tabs, and 1 herbal detox tea.

I loved the fit chews before I even knew what they were! They taste like chocolate taffy but candy they are not! These little babies are appetite suppressants that can help tide you over in-between meals or when you are craving sweets. These were gone the first day I got them – need I say more?

Next up, the energy fizz tabs. I was so pumped to try these because, A) I am a bona fide beverage diva and I will do anything to get my daily allotment of H2O and B) I am always struggling for energy around 3pm. It was great in plain water but tomorrow I am going to try it in the detox tea. Watch the magic happen…

And finally, the protein powder! I looooove this stuff because I know I don’t get enough protein naturally in my diet, which is crucial for muscle growth. I always try to use protein powder in baking so I thought I would try some protein brownies! I really like the taste of these brownies but they may not be for everyone. I substituted a few things so they ended up a little gooey, I will have to play around with the ingredients a bit more next time I try it. I packaged them up in tin foil and threw them in the freezer so hopefully they’ll make a great frozen treat with some vanilla ice cream! If you have any alternative ways to make these let me know, I’m open to suggestions!

Protein Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese (I tried to use Greek yogurt but it didn’t work out too well…)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 scoops Chocolate Arbonne Essentials Protein Shake Mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Truvia
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup water

 Directions:

Prep Time: 5 mins Cooking time: 20-30 mins

1. Mix everything. Pour into well greased 13×9 pan.

2. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when stuck in the middle. Mine had to cook for several more minutes- I think it was because I used the yogurt.
